VLC - Black screen after change in monitors

cn flag

I've got a Dell XPS 9310 with 4k screen and Ubuntu 20.04 running. Today I got two new screens that are 4k as well and I have connected them via DP as I had the Full HD screens before. Since then video output in VLC doesn't work anymore. I tried all the stuff you find online I think. I tried OpenGL and X11 output in all combinations with or without hardware acceleration.

If I do rm -rf ~/.config/vlc/* and start with defaults I get a picture on my laptops screen but with a green bar at the top. I can move it to the other screen but as soon as I tried resizing it or want to go to full screen it turns black again.

Sounds like on VLC support would be a good place to start.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
