Ubuntu 20.04 freezes when HDMI cable disconnected

As in title. It freezes at random times, usually under 2 minutes. No matter what I do. I have:

  • Ubuntu 20.04
  • laptop HP pavilion ec-2319nw
  • NVIDIA GTX 3050 Ti
  • kernel: 5.13.0-30-generic

I really don't want do reinstall system or change to 18.04. What Can I do to fix it ?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding.
