Setting priority of audio devices

id flag

I have updated from Kubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 recently. To configure a priority of input and output devices for audio I used phonon settings.

Since I work in an environment with different docking stations, audio devices change very often during a work day. In a conference room, I do not want to switch to the conference speaker, if the headset is connected.

With 22.04 the phonon settings vanished and I could not change priority any longer. I found the settings app by installing it with sudo apt install phonon4qt5settings and start with phononsettings. But I cannot change the priority there. I have only one device "PulseAudio-Sound-Server".

With 18.04. there was a list of audio devices and with the buttons "^ Vorziehen" or "Zurückstellen" (translation) I had moved the devices up and down.

Is there a new way to change priorities?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
