Keyboard and touchpad not working after suspend on Fujitsu Lifebook E554

ua flag

My keyboard acts weird (keys often act as if pressed for a long time) and the touchpad does not work after suspend on Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04. The similar error persisted on Kali and I solved it by editing /etc/default/grub, specifically by setting

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="atkbd.reset=1 i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset=1

This approach does not work when editing the same file on Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04. As if nothing happened after edit. At the moment, when I boot the machine, grub in Kali fashion is shown (blue screen with white dragon). Also when adding more options (on Kali) like

i8042.nopnp=1 i8042.dumbkbd=1,

than the keyboard does not work at all, but the touchpad does after suspend

What further things I could try?

Shoudl we assume you have a dual-boot Kali+Ubuntu and and Kali's Grub has the first boot priority? If so did you run `sudo update-grub` in Kali after adding the same parameters in Ubuntu? **Please [edit] the question accordingly**.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
