Lost Connection to RDP, VPN L2TP/IPsec 22.04 LTS

kh flag

I can connect to VPN L2TP/IPSec according to the instructions: here. Also, the adjustment here makes the connection stable. However, Remote Desktop Connection does not work. This is Ubuntu version 22.04.

The exact same setup in Ubuntu 20.04 is no problem.

Has anyone encountered this? For this reason I have created a Dual Boot for Ubuntu 22.04 and 20.04, but I would like to have only one OS.

EDIT:

Maybe someone will have some idea. I already tried different versions with LibreSwan, StrongSwan. Different versions of Remmina via flatpack, snapd, etc. And nothing. The problem is this, but I don't know what to do with it.

freerdp_tcp_connect:freerdp_set_last_error_ex ERRCONNECT_CONNECT_FAILED [0x00020006]

EDIT2:

Hello, in the end the error was and is in the vpn destination. In Ubuntu 20.04 or earlier, the VPN destination is set according to the assigned ip address, but version 22.04 sets the destination to a public ip address. Does anyone know how to change this so that I don't have to manually suck every time I connect using sudo ifconfig ppp0 dstaddr xx.xx.x.16

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
