Xubuntu/Ubuntu 22.10, Pulseaudio to PipeWire?

cn flag

Can anyone explain to me the situation of Pulseaudio to Pipewire migration? I have Pulseaudio running right now for sound. Am I supposed to use the PipeWire's Pulseaudio emulation in 22.10 and future? Is this https://askubuntu.com/a/1333405/31831 the current advice as well?

Ubuntu Desktop 22.10 (GNOME) includes pipewire; Xubuntu 22.10 (Xfce) does not using Pulseaudio. You could contrast manifests (https://releases.ubuntu.com/kinetic/ubuntu-22.10-desktop-amd64.manifest https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/releases/22.10/release/xubuntu-22.10-desktop-amd64.manifest, or read release notes etc https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/pipewire-as-a-replacement-for-pulseaudio/28489/3)
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
