How to resize per-app window list in KDE Plasma taskbar?

et flag

Kubuntu 22.04, KDE Plasma 5.24.4, Icons-only Task Manager 3.0

When I hover over the icon in the taskbar, the window list shows very large images of the open windows for the selected app, and if more than four windows are open, there is a horizontal scrollbar:

For comparison: On Windows, these images are much smaller so you can see many more than four windows, and when there are too many, it displays a vertical list. On my Mac, it simply displays a vertical list.

I want to be able to see more than four windows and to eliminate the horizontal scrolling. Behavior similar to either Mac or Windows would be preferable.

I have tried the alternatives: Task Manager 4.0 has the same behavior, and Window list 2.0 doesn't offer the grouping that I want.

Is there any way to change this to resemble either the Windows or Mac behavior?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
