Kubuntu 22.10 Backup (bup/kup) falis

I recently upgraded from Kubuntu 22.04 to 22.10. Since then I haven't been able to backup using the built-in backup function from system settings.

The log provides follwing information: Kup is starting bup backup job at Sonntag, 20. November 2022 12:52:45 CET

bup "-d" "/media/fil/Backup_Extern/Backups" "init" /usr/local/bin/bup: 13: exec: /usr/bin/python3.9: not found

Kup did not successfully complete the bup backup job: failed to initialize backup destination.

A quick look around shows that the directory /usr/bin/python3.9 doesn't exist but /usr/bin/python3.10 does.

I've tried addding python3.9 using the deadsnakes ppa but this fails: https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/deadsnakes/ppa/ubuntu/dists/kinetic/Release 404 Not Found [IP: 185.125.190.52 443]

Also editing the bup file to use 3.10 gives an error message.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance and best regards from Germany Fil

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
