Proxy integrations always return timeout

la flag

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 and want to integrate authenticated proxies from Chrome and Firefox browsers, and Python codes (mainly requests and scrapy). No matter which option it always returned timeout errors, even if I in the code stated that the timeout is set to than 30 seconds, it returns the error with 5-10 seconds. It is likely to be a network problem (possibly DNS, etc) on my end. I have tried modifying the resolv.conf file in /etc by adding host address before the 127.0.0.53 nameserver hostaddress and there was no results.

What I want to do as final goal is able to run scrapers written in Python with concurrent requests and different authenticated proxies. The proxies work fine from other machines. What could the problem possibly be here and how do you solve it?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
