Ubuntu 22.04 logs off unexpectedly (gdm-x-session segfault)

gb flag

I hit a shortcut key (win+space) to change the input language and the system logged off unexpectedly. This is not the first time I'm experiencing this issue though I don't remember what I did in previous unexpected logs-off. When I log in back, everything works fine (I haven't rebooted).

It also points to /home/dizcza/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.1.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ghoaj363bquyx7j/Xorg.1.log?dl=0

I've googled gdm-x-session segfault but found no answer hot to fix this.

$ dpkg -l |grep xserver-xorg-core

Why does it happen and how to fix it?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
