KDE Disc Upgrade Panic Issue 22.04

jp flag

I am currently facing a massive delema with my system after an upgrade.

I did a dist upgrade from 18 to 20 then to 22, since then when my system boots up it shows cannot find device uuid =+ hdd string and drops me into a shell.

My bios now shows two drives Sata 1 and sata 2 which appear to be the same.

When I look into my system it shows sda1 and sdb1 which sdb1 has two kernels, 5.4 and 5.15 (which is current).

has my drive somehow been partitioned?

when i run cs disk it says "drive already has raid array lable cant proceed".

would anyone know what could be causing this and or potential resolutions?

There is not enough information here for anyone to help you. Was your system set up with a raid array and if so of what type? How many physical disks do you have in your machine? Have you got backups of your important data? Chances are you have broken your raid array and need to reinstall but may need to focus on data recovery first.
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
