Split screen into 4 using the xrandr --setmonitor command (LG 43UN700)

cn flag

I have a 43'' TV-sized 4K monitor and I'd like to split it into 4 virtual screens using xrandr --setmonitor.

--setmonitor name geometry outputs

Define a new monitor with the given geometry and associated to the given outputs. The output list is either the keyword none or a comma-separated list of outputs. The geometry is either the keyword auto, in which case the monitor will automatically track the geometry of the associated outputs, or a manual specification in the form w/mmwxh/mmw+x+y where w, h, x, y are in pixels and mmw, mmh are the physical dimensions of the monitor.

I saw an example command to split a screen in 2 at https://askubuntu.com/a/1398786/10263 -

xrandr --setmonitor A 1920/440x1600/367+0+0 HDMI-1
xrandr --setmonitor B 1919/440x1600/367+1921+0 none

But I assume I need to adapt it to my own monitor's resolution and physical size (and to split in 4). My monitor model is LG 43UN700 - so it is 43'' and 3840x2160px (and 952x535 mm).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
