can I configure MTU as a virt-install network parameter

cn flag

I have an Ubuntu 20.04 headless KVM host, installing ubuntu 22.04 server guest.

For reasons I don't understand, my system requires MTU 1492. virt-install fails, unable to access Ubuntu repositories - so I have to install from an iso without network, then manually set the MTU. Is it possible to configure MTU in the initial virt-install - something like this (NB: this doesn't work)

alternatively, can it be configured on the host side?

--network="bridge=br0,model=virtio,mtu size=1492"
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
