Kubuntu 22.10 -- Server Authentication error

sr flag

On login I get a pop-up from KDE Daemon saying

The server failed the authenticity check

This has to do with a root certificate that I duly installed. When I open System Settings/SSL Preferences, I see the cert in there. And my system updates correctly, which shows that the cert is recognized by the system. So why the error messages upon login? I click on "ignore" and then "remember always" in the popup, but I get the same popup when I log in next time. See screenshots. The first is the details of the error. The second is from System Settings/SSL Preferences.

Something went wrong when I removed firefox snap, which did not fully uninstall, and added firefox apt. I removed both and the errors went away. I don't feel comfortable posting this as answer because I still haven't put my finger on the exact problem...
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
