No HDMI or speaker sound on Samsung Book2 Pro Ubuntu 22.04

fm flag

Installed UEFI Ubuntu 22.04 on new Samsung Book2 Pro and HDMI output and speakers do not work. Headphone plugged into jack works. HDMI and sound both work on Win 11. Sound output device indicated as: "Speaker-sof-hda-dsp". Digital Mic indicates input when talking and is also "sof-hda-dsp".

I also modified /etc/default/grub to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash intel_iommu=on,igfx_off loglevel=3"

Suggestions would be appreciated. Rick

FYI the problem also exists under Linux Mint 21.1 "vera", even when testing 6.0 and 6.1 kernels up to 6.1.11-060111-generic.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
