Main monitor is displaying in 2nd monitor's refresh rate

sd flag

I have two monitors. One uses HDMI (second monitor) and its a 75 hz monitor, it's recognized as monitor One in settings. One uses Display port (main monitor) and its at 165 hz, monitor two in settings. No matter what I seem to do, my main monitor always displays in 75 hz even when its set as the primary monitor (and set to 165hz). I have a RTX 3070 using official NVIDIA driver version 525.78.01. Also new windows appear on my 2nd monitor. The only thing that seems to be displaying in the correct refresh rate would be the cursor. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, and when I disable my 2nd monitor it displays in the correct refresh rate but I don't want to do that.

You've provided no OS, product & release details, are we to guess? Also if using a LTS release of Ubuntu, different kernel stack options exist (*the default set by the ISO you use for install*) so please be as specific as possible.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
