Ubuntu - KDE plasma login issue

lc flag

I am using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS so I decided to try the plasma desktop and went ahead to install it and selected it to load up. After rebooting I get an error login details failed. I've tried ctrl + alt + 5 it asks for my ubuntu login and I put that. It does not allow me to go past that. Shows a 'welcome to Ubuntu message' and disappears then I'm left to type again my credentials. What could be the issue and how do I go about resolving it?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
