Installing Ubuntu Server on Intel 500 series motherboard using integrated graphics (no discrete GPU)

ci flag

Brand new system just built:

  • Intel Core i3-10105
  • 16GB DDR4 3200
  • MSI MPG B560I Gaming Edge Wi-Fi

I have the Ubuntu 20.04 server installation media loaded onto a usb stick, when I boot the system, the usb is recognized and a screen shows up with a few different options including Install Ubuntu Server. When I select any of the options the screen goes black then shuts off. I researched and found that the problem is related to the UEFI bios, and I can't change it to CSM due to the fact that I don't have a discrete GPU. Is there a way around this without needing a discrete GPU? Some places have mentioned switching something from MBR to GPT, but all the instruction relating to that has seemed quite vague.

Thanks in advance

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
