Ubuntu doesn't detect external BTRFS Drive

ng flag

I have a Seagate 8TB external drive with btrfs. It was connected to an rpi and being used as NAS. I've lost the SDCard on rpi so I just connected the drive directly to my laptop on Windows host. (Windows can see the drive)

On VMware Workstation, I have Kali linux and Ubuntu 22.04. Seagate btrfs drive is detected by Kali Linux without any problem. It's automatically mounted when conncted to this guest and I can delete / copy files from it. Ubuntu on the other hand doesn't even detect that there's a drive connected to it. (lsblk / fdisk / sfdisk -l) none of these tools show an external drive connected.

Can someone please help me resolve the issue?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
