Upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 LTS. Dark Theme doesn't work

fi flag

I updated my Ubuntu from 18.04 to 20.04 LTS with the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo do-release-upgrade

The upgrade took some time and it was done without any data loss which is good! I had used sudo apt-mark hold <package-name> for applications which I wanted to stay as is. Like mysql, mysql-workbench-community, openvpn, etc.

Now that the upgrade is done, I can't change the Ubuntu theme in the appearance section. I tried selecting Dark but it doesn't do anything. I have tried rebooting as well but it still doesn't work.

Can someone help me fixing the dark theme for it?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
