22.04 takes extremely long to install

ph flag

I am installing 22.04.02 LTS after shredding the old instance. Only Ubuntu will be installed. BIOS got updated to the most recent version and is set to UEFI. The machine is Asus V5-591G equipped with 16GB RAM, i7 - 6700, SSD. I am selecting full disc encryption + third party drivers. First attempt approached with overwriting empty space. Second one leaving it not selected. Bootable USB created with Create bootable USB in Ubuntu 20.04.

Yesterday after 10 hours I stopped the process of installation. Details showed some progress but progress bar didn't move a tiny bit. Today after an hour I also stopped the process. USB stick is 32GB Goodram USB3.0. Machine USB is also USB3

Do you have any ideas what might causing such a extremely long install?

Second question (maybe related to the above) I have two disks. sdb is for Ubuntu, sda is some my stuff. For the installation I selected correctly sdb but the process is giving me this message (see attachment). Do you know why and is it slowing down the installation? enter image description here

Did you verify the ISO before making the Boot USB? https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/how-to-verify-ubuntu#1-overview
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
