The lower bound of my keyboard volume control is still way too loud

vn flag

I have a Bluetooth Samsung Soundbar T6-Series and a Corsair K70 Keyboard with media controls on Ubuntu 22.10. When I turn down the volume using the keyboard, a small dialog that says “Headset” appears and I can turn the volume down, but the change in loudness is minimal.

It goes from 100% to maybe 90% (and completely off at the very bottom). I see the same range when adjusting the volume from the menu in the task bar.

When adjusting the volume using pavucontrol, I'm able to cover the entire range of loudness.

How can I get the full range from the keyboard controls?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
