Dolphin runs as root in KDE

cn flag

I'm running Kubuntu 22.04. I followed a different StackOverflow answer to launch Dolphin as root using:

sudo SUDO_USER= dolphin

At this point, I don't want to run dolphin as root again.

If I launch dolphin from the application launcher, it runs as my current user, as before. However, if I use Meta+E or if I use Alt-F2/Alt-Space to launch from Krunner, Dolphin always runs as root. How can I fix this and have Krunner launch Dolphin as the current user?

It's fixed now. I rebooted and it reverted back to normal.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
