Do spanned volumes always take up part of the main hard drive(The one with windows installed)

I have set up a spanned volume that consisted of 2 physical hard drives yet part of it is on my main hard drive(the one with windows installed) is that normal behaviour? The volume I'm referring to is K:Data. Notice how it takes up 1mb of disk 0 even though I configured it to only span disk 3 and 4. Is this normal?

Windows server - what edition for active directory logging only

for my organization (40-50 users) I need a Domain Controller. The server will be used only to log users on their PC/Notebook (with windows pro edition) and to set policy on the PC (like to block pc usb ports or other policies).

Can I buy a windows server 2022 essential edition or I need a Standard edition with 40-50 user CAL? The users must not access to the server with rdp or other services.

I have some User objects with "ExchangeActiveSyncDevices" object within. I also have some Computer objects with published printers inside.

PowerCLI, Invoke-VMScript cannot get the script's exit code
