How to close connection when using PSExec on multiple remote computers?
id flag

I am using PSExec to run scripts on multiple computers and after a few computers I start getting connection errors (probably because of concurrent connections limit on Windows 10).

PSExec command I am currently using:

psexec.exe @pc_list.txt -h -u psexec_username cmd /c "\\win10pc\path\script.cmd"

In the scripts I use pushd command to map the path to script/installer location, run installer if applicable ...

Sudden random HTTP/2 403 Forbidden on IIS

All of a sudden I am getting random "403 forbidden" errors on a website running under IIS. I have been struggling the last few hours to nail down the issue and I can't find it. It appears that elements coming up with that error are located in directories such as js, docs or css. I didn't get any error on elements located in my website's root directory.

Add attribute to existing objectClass in LDAP

I am very new to LDAP, but I drew the short straw at work, and I have a requirement to add an attribute to inetOrgPerson. Yes I know that this is bad practice. But this is an internal temporary setup that will never see the light of day.

I am using ApacheDS for the ldap server. After getting over the total shock that inetOrgPerson does not have a last login time, I need to add one. We have a r ...

top outputI apologize wholeheartedly but this is probably as unspecified as it can get as for a question.

What is a netmask and how is it relevant to IP whitelisting?

https://dnsmadeeasy.com/support/subnet

I was told to whitelist an IP 124.133.44.42 (not real ip), but I am wondering what I should enter as a netmask to whitelist the IP by default. I am guessing any user within the sub network should be whitelisted. So should I use a netmask of 255.255.255.0 to cover every user?

Find Windows VolumeId from FilePath

Problem

I want to find the VolumeId that my file is on using the file path.

The Best Solution That I Can Think Of

The best way that I can think of accomplishing this is to query out via WMI/CIM all of the disk partition access paths for all of the LUN Disks, and then seeing which access path has the longest access path.

So I was wondering if there was a way to make nginx serve it's autoindex page on a different path. Something like /path/to/dir/autoindex.html

I tried the following:

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
