Ubuntu 21.10 freezing randomly on HP 246 G7

cn flag

So, sometime ago, I upgraded my ubuntu 21.04 to ubuntu 21.10. Right after, I noticed that when I was using the kernel 5.13, it just freezes randomly, so I keept using the version 5.11 waiting for a patch which should solve this problem.

But, this patch never came, and one of the latest upgrades that I made, deleted the 5.11 kernel from my computer, so I couldn't use ubuntu anymore, because it keeps crashing everytime I boot it.

So, I spend the last four days researching and trying to get it to work with the new kernel.

My actual informations:

The problem has something to do with the wifi connection. My laptop does not freezes when the wifi is off.

The problem has probably nothing to do with any of my installed software. I say that because, I already deleted and reinstalled ubuntu 21.10. Then There is no software to be the cause of these random freezing stuff.

My laptop seems to be working normal after 16pm or later, (Yeah, pretty random) The last four days I went to sleep thinking that I've solved the problem, but when I boot it on the next day, it freezes again.

On my research I found our that HP has a bad history with Linux distributions, so, maybe it has something to do with my wifi adapter, but what should I do if so?

This is my last try to get it to work, or maybe I'll try to install the ubuntu 20.04 LTS version, but I don't know yet.

If it can be helpful somehow, all I installed in my laptop was: Visual Studio Code, Spotify, Chrome shell extensions, floating dock extension, panel dynamic transparency, discord, zoom, Android studio, but I don't think the problem has anything to do with my installed softwares. I also installed gnome tweaks.

By the way, even in the recovery mode, if I connect the wifi, it still freezes, the only way I can do anything is rebooting the hole computer via power button.

I hope someone can help me, I really tried my best, but I couldn't solve this thing.

EDIT 1: It's working now(14:22 UTC-03:00, same day), without apparent reasons. It's working since 13:32 UTC-03:00. Don't know if it's useful. Since there is no pattern now. But, that's it.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
