No audio on HDMI after changing monitor resolution, Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS, Barebone Intel N4100

in flag

I have installed Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS package from ubuntu page without any change and connected monitor via HDMI which worked. Then I have changed the display to higher resolution and could not select HDMI for Audio output anymore. Now founding out "display resolution issue" I changed back to lower resolution and can select HDMI audio which works until restarting the system, rebooting removes HDMI audio from dropdown. Switching again to higher and then back to lower resolution "adds" HDMI in the audio out selection dropdown again.

before finding out "resolution issue" I have tried removing pulseaudio-files, played around with alsamixer etc., so a lot of thing I have found here - nothing helped.

ZOTAC ZBOX CI329: Intel N4100 internal UHD graphics 600 Linux: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
