Keyboard and mouse not working when using X11 and sudo

br flag

I can connect to my server with ssh and launch graphic applications (like sublime). When I want to modify a system file, I use a command like sudo subl /etc/fstab

Sublim runs but I can't do any action : typing, access menus, not even close the window.

The issue is not specific to sublime, I run Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS and the is no problem when I'm not under sudo. I'm connecting from windows 10 with mobaXterm.

Following suggestions (thanks) I used : env SUDO_EDITOR="/usr/bin/subl -w" sudoedit /etc/fstab

Problem persists : no interaction possible with sublime

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
