Ideapad 330 (81FDS00100) keyboard not working

rs flag

I got a brand new keyboard installed on my laptop mentioned in the title, but it isn't working properly, as the keys Enter and Backspace are not working. Is there any way to update drivers or reset configuration to get it working again without having to change the keyboard? I just paid a lot to get it changed. Thanks in advance.

You've provided no OS & release details; and what laptop? Details in the title may **not** be visible to all users when they read your question as not everyone uses the same browser, device or screen size. Please correct your question & provide OS & release details (kernel stack may also useful if using a LTS release of Ubuntu)

You can search how to reconfigure a keyboard in Ubuntu. It is very easy, here, done it for you :~): https://askubuntu.com/questions/342066/how-to-permanently-configure-keyboard There is also a GUI tool.

Are you sure the repair was done correctly?

Yes. The repair was done correctly. It was working a while ago, but now it stopped. I found out that this is a chronic issue on Lenovo laptops, so I believe it's a hardware issue, unfortunately.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
