Printing problem in Xubuntu after electrical brown out while both computer and printer were running

id flag

My system: Xubuntu 22.04 LTS. My printer: modern Brother laser cable connected in network. The printer uses the ipp driverless protocol and worked fine before the power cut. After restart the computer lost the connection but after manually adding IP address the communication was restored, however the printer only printed one line random characters. I switched off the printer and removed it from the list. After restart, the printer was recognized again, printed the test page, but as 16 small pages on an A4 sheet. The same happens in Libre Office when printing an odt doc. An existing PDF doc prints out normal. Exporting in Libre Office the doc to PDF and print from Atril it prints normal. What can here be the issue?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
