Kubuntu themes not working properly after installing and removing Pantheon

pk flag

So I decided I will try taking Pantheon for a spin. I installed it, relogged through it. It didn't look right – it looked messy and I thought the reason for it likely is an overlap of theme/config files with KDE.

I relogged once again back into KDE. KDE looked messed up as well. I though I should remove Pantheon to fix it. I did so, but it didn't help. Here is a pic from Dolphin:

The background color doesn't change when switching between Breeze and Breeze dark. The contrast is bad, I can barely see folder names. The scrollbars are, well, uglier. The progress bar showing remaining disk space is weird.

Other apps like System settings, Elise, KTorrent also look weird.

Doing the solution from this similar question has helped to some extent, it looks a bit better now, but still unsatisfactory (picture is after applying the suggested fix).

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
