I'm trying to allow users to properly use video/voice chat software (like Teams) on our Remote Desktop server. Sound playback works fine, but I've been unable to get sound input (microphone input) through to the server.

The sound control panel on the remote server shows my input device as "Remote Audio", but shows no incoming signal when tested. On the local computer, the sound control panel does ...

What exactly is the boot disk from google cloud platform (cgp) compute engine?
tr flag

I want to use google's compute engine as a database. When using the calculator, I got confused about what the boot disk is. Google's documentation didn't help either. Is the boot disk only for the OS or is it where everything is stored? If I don't specify the boot disk size, will I be able to set up my database in the compute engine? If yes, what would be the storage limit for the database?

I need to update memcached on centos7 from 1.4.15 to 1.4.33 however yum update says there isn't anything to update, clearly there is as there is a newer version. I can't find anything on google explaining how to update it, it's all just about installing it with yum install memcached - which doesn't install the latest!

Build pipeline to upload .jar package to AWS Lambda
us flag

So far according to the documentation at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lambda/latest/dg/java-package.html, the only way to upload .jar code to an AWS Lambda function would be to manually upload the file over their web interface.

Is there a way to upload the file in the Maven build or another pipeline?

here is what I am trying to do:

I have a small Hetzner cloud server where I run multiple docker containers. One of them is an NginX container, that accepts connections and forwards it to other docker applications. The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
