I am just trying to run GNU Mailman3 with Postfix+Nginx+Postgres. This is the latest GNU/Linux Debian stable so I just apt-get installed mailman3-full and did some standard changes to the config files. The Nginx part is good, SSL works fine, I can access Postorius and Hyperkitty from my web browser. But when trying to login as admin I am getting the following error:

Internal DNS with BIND, how to resolve one IP address differently?

raj

I have an internal DNS (it is completely internal, ie. the network is not connected to Internet) for a group of networks. They are set up as follows:

  • Each network has a different address range of 10.x.0.0/16 and its own domain domainx (it is a top-level domain) - for example network 10.1.0.0/16 has domain1 (all hosts in this network have DNS names somehost.domain1)

  • For each network/domain, host  ...

What should the Ulimits be for users on a shared linux server?

Ash

There was a similar question already on here, but it was answered over 10 years ago (yikes) and I needed something more adapted to my server needs. I'm developing a shared Linux server for CS and Linux classes I imagine that the max amount of students on the system would be 200, but no more than 50 at once. I would like to limit the resource usage (CPU, RAM, etc.) using ulimits or pam, however, I am uns ...

Unable to delete google projects
us flag

I am out of ideas. After following "https://serverfault.com/questions/837470/unable-to-access-organisationss-iam-settings-in-google-cloud" and several other suggestions, nothing seems to work. I am simply unable to delete these projects and adding myself as roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator doesn't work.

I have three project IDs which I am trying to delete. For this I go to

How can I monitor asp net application?
cn flag

I have a web application (asp.net) with a SQL database used by many users (> 10k) deployed over three different machines.

What are the factors to monitor like traffic or latency, etc?

I've already checked the metrics of the machine and I've analyzed SQL database heavy query. What are the other factors to consider to keep optimized a web application?

rsync a directory with its own descendant
gr flag

tl;dr: I want to rsync a directory to its own descendant, and then rsync the said descendant back to the original directory--including deletions and exclusions in both directions.

Before you ask the obvious question, "Why would you want to do that?" or point out how much better another approach would be, this is a business requirement. It's not my choice, and I'm aware of the risks, so just indulge me.  ...

Check computers on network for core isolation

Trying to find best method for checking all domain computers for core isolation being enabled. We have been slowly enabling this as new machines are deployed, but I would like to expedite the migration.

Normally powershell would be the way but I am not finding anything on the ol' google.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
