I have configured a file expiration task in File Server Resource Manager to move the folders, which are not being modified for 30 days, to another directory in that same drive. There are no property conditions. When running with option Run file management task now and choosing eit ...

Can a server offer more than one TLS certificate?
br flag

Let's say I have a TLS certificate for a domain but I'm not sure if all user agents potentially connecting over HTTP would accept it. Can I obtain another certificate, signed by another certificate authority, and use it in such cases as a fallback, transparently to the user? If it's possible, how would the client-server communication to establish a secure connection proceed? And is this use case well kn ...

So I'm running a drupal site and I'd like the response of a specific URL to be cached:

I've added this code in the PHP function:

Unable to ssh ProxyJump AD / PAM user to jumpbox / bastion host
cn flag

I'm trying to ProxyJump an ActiveDirectory/PAM user via a Bastion Host to AWS EC2 instance

If I try to login "per-server" i.e. log in to Bastion Host with AD/PAM credentials I can login. From the Bastion Host I can then use my AD/PAM user to login to the EC2. So there isn't an issue on this.

Step1: ssh user@example.com@bastion.example.com - I can login to the Bastion

Step2: ssh user@example.com -h 1.2.3 ...

jsonPayload (structured logging) output from Python Google Cloud Function's logging needed to create Log-Based Metrics (LBM) in GCP

I need the jsonPayload in the logs of a Google Cloud Function instead of the textPayload. My aim is to use the keys of the dictionary as labels (see Log-based metrics labels) for Log-Based Metrics so that these can be addressed in Grafana.

I am using Python's logging module, but I can also switch to something else if needed.

I need as output in the logs:

Can I force a re-read of the leap-seconds file immediately?
it flag

After realizing that my leap-seconds file is expired, I updated it. However while ntpq indicates expire=202112280000, it did not re-read the current file.

I suspect that the file is being checked once per day only.

Thus the question is there a ntpq configuration command to force a re-read of the leap-seconds file immediately?

I'm using ntp 4.2.8p15 on Linux.

setting up debian bullseye repository WITHOUT a CDN

i have some debian boxes in a DMZ behind a restrictive firewall. The problem is that those boxes are mostly not able to reach the CDN backed org.debian.org-repositories as the IP of deb.debian.org changes ramdomly and therefore the IP the boxes try to reach and the IPs that are allowed by the firewall are not the same.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
