Lenovo ThinkPad under Linux Ubuntu stopped working

cn flag

It is a bit frustrating because I had to force the power button because my screen froze suddenly. When it has restarted, the mouse cursor did not move. I just bought a wireless mouse and worked, but then I realized the sound and internet connection no longer worked as well. What did I do wrong. Is there an easy fix for that?

In order to help you we would need more information about what is happening. Does the machine boot? What version of Ubuntu? What error messages do you get. Sounds like several things are not working like they did before so there may not be a single thing that will fix all. You may have damaged the filesystem by forcing a reset. You may have a faulty hard drive which led to the original freeze. I would start by running ’fsck` targeting your root partition. If you don’t know how, search on here or Google it

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
