I've launched a virtual image through the software virtual-manager (it's a GUI allowing to launch your virtual images).

I've stopped normally the image and close the software virtual-manager.

How to Set up Site-To-Site VPN using a VPN client as a gateway
mx flag

I have a remote L2TP VPN which my synology diskstation connects to.

I would like to use my synology diskstation then as a gateway to get to hosts on this VPN.

The VPN assigns addresses in the 10.0.0.1 space.

So I tried the following static route on my local router (192.168.1.1).

The address of my diskstation, which I assume will serve as the gateway to the VPN is, on my local network: 192.168.1.15

Unable to swap old server with new one as the switch it's plugged into is unaccessible
cn flag

Hopefully the title covers this question but, it's pretty straightforward.

At work, we have an old DMZ Server we'd like to replace with a newer model. Unfortunately, when we were ready for the swap, the NIC didn't light up (no link lights). So we plugged in the old DMZ Server and link lights to that server were re-established.

What's the maximum size of an nginx *.conf file?
ms flag

Is there a limit? I can't find this info. anywhere.

If I wanted to inline an image (for testing purposes only) in an endpoint configured in my *.conf file, is there a limit?

I realize this is an odd question, but it'd be great to know this.

Has anyone cloned an HDD for a Macintosh IIvx?

Where I work as a sysadmin, we have an old Macintosh IIvx that is the only one left in the world with an obscure program on it that will cost the company a ton of money if they can't use it. Well, the dreaded day has come.

Yesterday, it wasn't booting and just showing a black screen, there appeared to be damage on the PSU, so we replaced the PSU with another one we found that had a broken fan. Re ...

How do I convert a multi-value SAML attribute to a single-value string in ADFS?

I previously asked a similar question about doing this in Azure AD. However, I've come to the conclusion that it is probably too limited to do this and I received no answers.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
