Azure Data Lake unreachable via UNC

Good Afternoon,

I have an Azure Data Lake (storage container) with two file shares.

Test-NetConnection to the file share over 445 is successful as well as over CommonTCPPort SMB.

When I try to map or browse the share as a drive, I get an "unable to reach "azuredatalake"".

Host app on sub directory of main app

So I have my main site that's built with react and express. Now I want to add a blog part to my site that's built with next.js. However I don't want to host it on something like blog.example.com I would rather host it on example.com/blog.

I'm using a digital ocean droplet that's running ubuntu 18.04 and nginx. I've looked at similar questions as mine but I couldn't get this working. I've pasted my ng ...

Hyper-V servers joined to a domain
ph flag

All my clients are small businesses just trying to get by. No corporate budgets to do things the completely right way without a lot of arm-twisting and some time to build trust.

A common scenario is to inherit a site with a single physical server running a few virtual servers. This Hyper-V host is usually in a workgroup. Other times it is joined to the domain, with the DC running as one of its VMs ...

Is it okay to use core ruleset v3.3 on modsecurity v2.9
us flag

I am just a beginner in the field of security. I have installed ModSecurity v2.9 on my server using this link. But GitHub repository for the core rule set in the link was outdated, so later I removed the ruleset with the official ruleset. Is it okay to update core rules v3.3 with mod security v2.9? Will it break my site?

Is it possible to deploy an AllUsers VPN connection to Windows 10 via Group Policy
us flag

We currently deploy a per user VPN connection to our Windows 10 clients by running a login PowerShell script to add a user context VPN.

We would like to deploy the same connection as an AllUsers connection, so it is available on the login screen before users sign in. Is it possible to do this via Group Policy only? Will a startup script run under system context and allow this to deploy?

I am testing out always on VPN user and device tunnels in my home lab to evaluate for live deployment in our companies' environemnt.

My user tunnel is working flawlessly, but my device tunnel does not auto connect and when I connect via "rasphone" it seems to disconnect after a period of time or after I sign out of the machine.

Is this because I am using Windows 10 Pro with the device tunnel still b ...

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
