Internal IP is use by HTTP internal load balance, but IP address show "none"
jp flag

I created an Internal HTTP Load balance by the code below.

I can see Internal HTTP Load balance is running with internal IP(var.my_iip)

But in VPC network > IP addresses, the "in use by" of internal IP(var.my_iip) is "none"

Why not "Forwarding rule http-ife"? and how to make it right?(to prevent someone delete this IP cuz it seem no in use)

in flag

I am trying to back up the working files on my Macintosh to a NAS server. The server runs FreeNAS software. I mount the server over AFP (Apple Filing Protocol). The server runs Netatalk software which provides AFP.

Some of the files I backed up had a special group membership, xampp, on my Mac. On the AFP volume, their group membership is the default staff. So I tried to correct their group membership man ...

Exchange Server Autodiscover external URL

All.

I am nearing the completion of the setup of our Exchange Server. The process has been a challenge, but I have enjoyed learning new things.
What I am working on now is setting up the autodiscover.
I cannot find any good information on properly setting up the external.
Does the External URL have to reside on the Exchange Server, or can it be on the Web Server?
If it has to be on the Exchange Serve ...

Windows Search - Weird Results
ar flag

We are currently thinking about to enable Server Side Windows Search to speedup the search done by clients on Network shares.

Put to a test the performance is better, without doubt - but with having Windows Search enabled, the overall result is worse in terms of quality.

Assuming a search is done for the keyword RMC

Regular Search, traversing through all files and folders will take some time, but fi ...

I've set sendmail_path in PHP.ini, and it works fine on the command line, but not when the same script is called from an Apache server?
cn flag

So I'm trying to do a simple test of some email functions in a PHP (Magento) application, but I'm running into an issue. All I want to do is to store the output from calls to the built-in mail() function into a local file instead of sending it through an SMTP server. I do know how and have setup SMTP access for this application in the past, but it takes some time and I figured it couldn't be that har ...

AWS Site-to-Site VPN ping working, TCP not

I want to establish a site-to-site IPsec VPN connection between an AWS EKS-Kubernetes-Cluster and a server from a different provider using AWS Site-to-Site VPN. Pings get through the VPN, but TCP traffic does not.

The server on the other end runs Ubuntu 20.04 and uses libreswan. The configuration file from AWS for the VPN for openswan has been altered in two ways (that I think should not matter): ...

Zabbix 6 : Elastic Search Trigger Expression no longer working

I just updated our Zabbix server from v5 to v6 and all went pretty smoothly. One of the problems I'm running into post-upgrade are the triggers we use to monitor Elastic Search. We have a custom template created for one of our internal apps (called "Template_CPE_Registry_status"), and that template has 3 triggers. All three of these triggers use the same "Item" named "CPE_Registry_status", with a key ...

The issue is, sometimes the server appears to become unresponsive to the outside network, however, it itself stays online and functionally connect ...

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
