Ubuntu stuck on blank screen with blinking cursor

Mouse movement wakes system up from sleep if the USB adapter is not reconnected

How to solve the error "did not find any matching data in cfg file" when using indexmaker installing MRTG

I'm installing MRTG and everything is going well so far, but when doing the index I'm getting said error. After investigating a little bit I found it could be due having commented the line rocommunity public localhost in the cfg file, but I did uncomment it and I'm still getting the error.

The line I'm running is sudo bash -c 'indexmaker /etc/mrtg.cfg > /var/www/mrtg/infex.html'

How to change partitions so Filesystem root has enough space

Ubuntu NFS client hangs while writing large file

I am hosting an NFS server on my Synology NAS. It is configured via the in-built NFS server under File Services. The configuration options are somewhat limited and I have set 32kb read/write packet size and max NFS version is 4.1.

The /etc/exports entry is:

Black Flickering Screen After Login

How do I blacklist a device itself in Ubuntu, not it's kernel module?

passing the credentials to the bash script from external file

I have to enter username and password manually, but I would like to pass the txt or any other file that has my credentials, so that when terminal asks me for username and password - it should just pick them up from the file.

Whenever I type neofetch, i get this error:
