Default login/password for ubuntu rootfs
bv flag

I have installed ubuntu rootfs such as "rootfs.tar.gz" available at site https://ubuntu.com/download/xilinx. This rootfs is used for Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC-based devices and evaluation boards. Every thing is fine except that I do not have information about default login in Ubuntu Rootfs.

Kindly, can someone narrate a procedure for login-in to the embedded system. I have attached snapshots.

How to remove packages with unknown names
cn flag

I made the grave mistake of running the command sudo apt-get install -y games-minesweeper thinking it would only install one game. It ended up installing like 30 or so games:

installed games

The problem is i can't uninstall these packages since they don't show up in the Ubuntu software app, and running:

sudo apt-get remove games-minesweeper

only returns:

Package 'games-minesweeper' is not installed, so not removed

Crop a specific region from a series of images
in flag

I have a series of png-images (actually they are taken from an mp4-file).

I want to crop the same region from all the images I have taken.

What tool is best for that, such that I can define the region first and then crop all the png images to the same region of interest.

Is there something to batch compress the resultant images (lossless)?

I tried apngasm, unfortunately the details to be shown in the  ...

How can I find the software/service that is reading from the Bluetooth device
ng flag

I have a VM that’s using my Intel NUC Bluetooth. But I don’t remember how I set this VM up. If it weren’t for the fact that I know a program is getting information from /opt/bluetooth/c0:B6:F9:8D:A6:75 I wouldn’t know that Bluetooth was even working in the first place.

Additionally dmesg | grep blue -i returns the following, so I know it’s configured somehow:

Caja drag and drop with tree view
ru flag

I just switched to Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS Mate because Mint MATE was buggy and annoying.

Ubuntu MATE is a great distro but one thing I like better about Mint MATE was in Caja if you drag an item from the main panel into a folder in the tree view panel it would highlight the folder so you knew exactly which folder you were going to drop into.

Caja in Ubuntu Mate doesn't do this.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
