I got this question regarding 2 versions of ubuntu (18.04 and 20.04)

In Ubuntu18.04 sets file permission for the following two commands as,

-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 64424 Mar 10 2017 /bin/ping
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1094560 May 10 2018 /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon

Each command also has POSIX capabilities as follows,

ping -> none

gnome-keyring-daemon. -> cap_ipc_lock

Good day everybody.

I'm making a custom iso of ubuntu using cubic. I'm all done except for 1 part: when in idle for x minutes the screen goes black. Of course i dont want that so here's all i've tried/done:

How do I install pyTranscriber on Ubuntu 20.04 from GitHub?

Getting empty biometrics device list after build in electron application on Ubuntu 18.04

We implement the uareu-node NPM is working fine in development mode but when I am going to create electron build it gives the empty device list. My machine is running Ubuntu 18.04

The output is:

Is there a fix for the “no WiFi adapter found” that doesn’t require internet?

Why is my Ubuntu server running many tmux server processes?

I'm running Ubuntu 21.04 on a Raspberry Pi 4B. I'm viewing top to monitor what's going on and it is showing at the moment 11 'tmux: server' processes. Tmux is running, showing one window containing four panes. tmux ls is showing only one tmux session and I am the only user on this system.

Top is looking like this:
