Problem booting Ubuntu 20.04 LTS iso file

Download Ubuntu 20.04 LTS iso file from ubuntu.com cheksum the file then made a start up USB disk. Booting the new burned USB it goes through the process stops with Focal Fossa sketch and time on Top Bar with four icons on the end no Dock and only the cursor which can be moved but nothing happens on clicking fter 20 seconds the screen goes black with only ubuntu name at the bottom.

how to enable my shortcut key as previous versions?

I just want to use shortcut key as before versions i.e. when i press alt+space it gives us options like minimize, unmaximize, move etc... but they are not working with keys like 'n' for minimize 'c' for close etc.. as our previous versions.

while browsing, my CPU usage suddenly reched almost 100%. Did a hard restart. While investigating i found that chrome-password-store was running in the backbround and using almost all the CPU resource.

Installing Ubuntu 21.04 on USB target USB

Tried installing Ubuntu 21.04 from an install USB onto another USB on an Acer Aspire 7 laptop.

Installation froze after about four hours and the laptop had to be powered off.

On rebooting the laptop, it showed a message of one line with a grub prompt underneath. "exit" showed the BIOS screen and returned to that same message with the grub prompt.

Error: Opening the Cache on ubuntu

I have been getting an error of opening the cache as in the below photo on ubuntu.

I have tried by deleting the lists directory and then doing sudo apt update, sudo apt upgrade. The problem did go for a day but the problem again arised. I didn't get the reason for it. If someone knows a solution to it please share!!

Audio crackles when I run VirtualBox

Recently I'm having an issue for which audio crackles when I run VirtualBox in Ubuntu 20.04. If I then execute pulseaudio -k it does fix it (upon restarting programs), but still this workaround is not great.
