Ubuntu 18.04, running postfix and procmail I have a .procmailrc and a .forward and all that. I configured procmail to log to a specific file, and the only way I can get it to work is by setting that file to be world readable and writable. Obviously this is no good. How do I determine what user account procmail is using to access files so I can lock it down to that account? (root:root and 644 didnt  ...

I set up a couple of months ago a Samba 4 AD DC and in the beginning it seemed to be working good but now I am receiving that Samba 4 DNS is not resolving external DNS requests line cnn.com. It seems like it is not making use of the root DNS servers and it is not resolving newly added internal DNS records. How can I fix this issue? I had to point the primary DNS back to the Windows DNS Server. Our goal  ...

Every time I run some codes on VS Code,cd "file location" && gcc file name.c -o file name && "file location"file name appears after the device's name and before the result. I have been struggling with a login loop issue for ~1 month now and am unable to resolve it despite help from my work IT department. The issue is that I am unable to login through the GUI - if I do, I get sent straight back to the screen where I am asked to choose my user (i.e. a login loop).

What I've tried / discovered so far:

I was using my flash drive on my work PC without issue, however, after removing it and trying to use it on my laptop it started producing error messages and causing my computer to go haywire with popups. Under disk manager (when it shows anything), the properties show nothing. I have a clean Ubuntu 20.04 install on a Thinkpad X1 Carbon. I am running the kernel 5.13.0-28-generic. The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
