Mapping multi-key shortcut involving Super_L in Ubuntu 20.04

I recently moved from Mac as my primary workstation to Ubuntu. And it has been a struggle... which I found to be surprising because before moving to Mac (5 years ago) I was on Ubuntu for a decent period.

Long story short I have gotten used to almost all the changes, except for the keyboard. Specifically the keyboard shortcuts.

I quite liked the use of super key for bunch of shortcuts. It definite ...

Files with date "Unknown" but files have date created in meta data
cn flag

I am rather confused why nemo is reporting that some files have no date set. Which means I cannot order my files by Date. This is only happening with my GoPro videos I will add. But when checking I can see that the Media Create Date is indeed the correct time of recording.

How I get it so the correct date is shown in nemo and in bash when sorting files for my scripts:

Keyboard lag when playing video
ru flag

While VLC runs, I find that my keyboard becomes very erratic. It repeats letters, misses letters, changes up the order, puts several seconds worth of lag between input and display, varying the combinations of these effects seemingly at random. This happens when audio or video is running, but recently the effect has persisted even several minutes after VLC is closed and the process killed just to make su ...

I'm trying to set up Wifi on an Ubuntu Server 20.04 system. I've messed around a bit with networking stuff on this machine already, in ways I can't quite remember (with netplan and wpa_supplicant), so I can't quite guarantee things are in a fresh state. However, when I try to run wpa_cli, I get:

After that, it just hangs.

Unless I use F10 and select an option, I get a no bootable disk message from my BIOS. If I press F10, when the screen says, "Please select boot device", I can select the hard drive and the Ubuntu boot screen proceeds normally.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
