I just upgraded my system as my OS asked me if I wanted to. Ubuntu 20.04 ran super smooth and I had little to no issues with it. Now since I upgraded, the mouse and keyboard slow down more and more after the PC has been running for a little bit . It's so bad right now I am having issues with typos. The mouse lags like crazy too. I am really frustrated, I have work to do!

getattrib: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED

This used to work but after a samba server upgrade anything that I am trying to "get" via an smbclient is returning "getattrib: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED"

In my client, I simply execute smbclient //mypc//sharename -Uusername and then I key in the password. This works ok and I can see directory listing and traverse into the directories.

As soon as I try to pull a file using smb's get command, it gives  ...

I have websites such as Notion, Outlook, and Onedrive installed as Apps through the edge browser. I wanted to know if they can be launched using a command in the terminal.

I've used the following command to get the window class string

which returns this for Notion:

`dpkg --configure --pending` vs `-a`
jp flag

What are the differences between dpkg --configure -a and dpkg --configure --pending? According to the manpage, both should configure all unpacked not-yet-configured packages and nowhere in the manpage a distinction between the two becomes apparent. However, they have shown different behaviour for me and from another answer on AskUbuntu, we can infer that I am not the only one observing differences.

How do I configure microk8s to assign SSL certs for microk8s pods with dns traefik metallb storage helm3 rbac enabled?

I'm trying to learn how to set up and manage Kubernetes using microk8s on Ubuntu 20.04. For the admin interface I'm using Rancher, as it allows me to easily mount NFS share to my pods.

But I would like to start assigning trusted SSL certs to my pods and I see that you can use traefik for that but I'm not sure how to configure it. I'm re-watching some of techno Tim's videos but am still lost.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
