My uncommon laptop model: 15-au070nb is an hp pavilion notebook. My drive is formatted in the GPT partition format. I try to dualboot my pc. How to remap the key combination to change to the next tab in my browser (Ubuntu 21.10)?
in flag

I’m using Ubuntu 21.10

I want to change the key command used to switch browser tabs to mimic what I do on Mac (Alt+Shift+ / ), instead of Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Shift+Tab.

The documentation suggests this can be done by going to Settings->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts and searching...but I can't find anything that looks relevant.

I'm using the Brave and Chromium browsers.

Any suggestions?

Trouble completing snapcraft tutorial on Ubuntu 20.04, Raspberry Pi 4
tn flag

I am trying to package my first snap with the ultimate goal of deploying an app on Ubuntu Core 20. I am new to snapcraft and multipass, so I'm following the "Create Your First Snap" tutorial on the Ubuntu website.

I am building on a Raspberry Pi 4, running Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS. Once the snap is packaged, I want to then be able to copy it to another Raspberry Pi 4 which is running Ubuntu Core 20.

Extending OS partition that is not the sda1

I have found two existing posts here that answer the first part of my question:

Increase partition size on which Ubuntu is installed? and Resize Disk Partition on Remote VM Server

However both of them assume my Linux is installed in the sda1, which, from what I can tell , makes its cylinder much earlier than if it were the sda4 (I didn't even know this cylinder thing was a thing). This is my current situa ...

So what I would like to achieve is to build a custom Ubuntu iso with preinstalled drivers for an AMD Graphics card using Cubic to be able to use as a liveUSB to see if I can detect the GPUs in multiple systems for mining purposes.

Find specific numbers of capitalized words next to each other

Let's say I have a .txt file:

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
