My kernel Version is 5.11.0-25-generic

Change shortcut that restarts X Server (Ctrl-Alt-Backspace)

I occasionally hit this shortcut by accident (for example when using Ctrl-Backspace to remove a word and then switching to another shortcut that involves Alt). This gets me to the login screen and all the programs close.

I haven't found any solutions anywhere on the Internet, searching for hours. Other threads mostly talk about disabling / enabling this shortcut and not about changing it.

Rounded window corners on GNOME 3.36?
cn flag

The title says it all but...

I want to make ALL 4 corners of ALL windows be rounded, Firefox included, just like on the new GNOME 40.

I'm not a programmer of any sort, I'm actually a visual designer & musician, so I don't know how to do that by myself.

Any way how I can do this?

Also, yes I did in fact check all other questions relating to this, none of them are really useful to my case.

How to close multiple trap error messages in Ubuntu

I have been using a program called MultiBUGS. From time to time, during my simulations, the following message appears:

Error that pops up

That message means that the simulation failed (non-convergence) and results should be excluded. I can quickly close the program by typing

pkill MultiBUGS

However, that small message is not eliminated from the screen. Because the code uses a loop, with time the screen gets full of t ...

Combine a .jpg and .txt in one PDF file (A4 format)

I'm trying to combine two separate files into one PDF file (A4 format). The left side should be filled with a jpeg image (for example: 0050.jpg) and the right side should be filled with text (or an image of the text file) for example 0050.txt

I'm aware of ImageMagick and the possibility to convert files, however I don't know how to combine two different file types into one A4 format PDF, meaning  ...

Can't change default application for .3gp files

I manually changed /etc/gnome/defaults.list file to set a different application than Totem for playing video files. It is actually a specific wrapper script around Totem that sets a few things before playing the video, and I created a file /usr/share/applications/auto-totem.desktop for it. All video/...= lines in this file specify my auto-totem.desktop file, including video/3gpp.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
