I'm just starting to learn Apache server.

I installed apache2(version 2.4.41) based on Ubuntu, WSL2 Windows10 and followed this tutorial to set up a webpage.

I created a webpage for testing. The path is:

How to install tcsh onto a server without using sudo?
us flag

I tried running a bash script on a server, but it gave me the error -bash: ./run-jaccard.sh: /bin/tcsh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory. I believe I need to install tcsh somehow and that will get rid of the error. The required command is sudo apt-get install csh, but I can't use sudo in the server, I don't have permissions. Is there another way I can install tcsh? Thank you in advance.

Allowing Chrome DevTools access to /opt

I am trying to debug a node program using the Chrome inspector. When I try to add the folder the program is in ( which is in /opt/lampp/htdocs/nodestuff ) to the workspace, I receive a "permission denied" notice.

It's my understanding that changing the permissions of the /opt folder is A Very Bad Thing . Any suggestions on the best practices for this situation?

After installing Kubuntu, grub shows a black screen and doesn't detect Windows dualboot
dm flag

Prior to installing Kubuntu I had a Ubuntu and Widnows10 dualboot.

Since I installed Kubuntu in place of the Ubuntu I noticed that grub didn't show up and the new OS would boot automatically. After opening grub customizer I see that the Boot default entry was set after 0 seconds. Changed that to 4 seconds in hopes it would show up. Now it shows a black screen for 4 seconds after proceeding to boot Kubun ...

Good night guys. I installed Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS today, but I can't connect to the network. Windows 10 subsystem for Linux CLI can't ping anything
ph flag

Within my Ubuntu 20.04 subsystem Ping google.com just fails. Ping 8.8.8.8 fails so there may be a DNS error but I don't think I would even know because pinging the address directly doesn't even work. In the Windows' cmd, both commands run fine, so it doesn't seem to be a firewall issue. I can't find relevant posts for this particular problem.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
