Chrome's share to device feature broken when sending multiples items on Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 (works on 16.04)
in flag

I am using Chrome's share to device feature to send a web page from Android chrome to chrome on Ubuntu.

When I send a single item, it works fine.

When I send multiple items to Ubuntu 16.04, it works fine (items pile up in the notifications bar).

However, when I send multiple items to 18.04 or 20.04, only 1 item is received and the others are lost.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

I recently replaced a smashed screen on a HP Spectre x360 G2, running Ubuntu 20.04LTS. However, after booting up again I had lost the use of the laptop's touchpad and keyboard (NB. devices still functioned in the BIOS, but lost function after GRUB). There are many similar questions floated here1, here2, here3, here4, here5, here6, and here7. I have followed all these prompts - most suggest (re)install ...

every then and now most of my keys do not work. Like the alphanumeric keys and also some others like delete. And then I press first different keys and later wildly on all of them and suddenly the keyboard works again. But I have no clue why. Do you know about a software bug that correspond with that? I also had that on a different laptop with 18.04 a while ago.

Best regards

sudo apt-get install chromium-browser for some reason installs not a proper apt-get package but is Installing the chromium snap

Is there any Linux intel display graphic driver for Toshiba Satellite C650 Laptop?
ky flag

I tried many many Linux distros, but none of them runs as smoothly as Windows 7, 8.1, and 10. The animations on windows are very smooth but on Linux, it is really bad and that's the reason I'm unable to keep Linux as my daily driver. I wonder whether it is an issue with drivers or something else.

How to add persistent IP routes in Ubuntu 20.04 server

Maybe this question has been answered somewhere before but I can’t seems to figure it out as yet. Lately I’m having some issues with my Ubuntu 20.04 server. The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
