How can I limit the outbound traffic?

I have a server running Ubuntu 22.04. They give me a monthly allowance of outbound traffic (bandwidth). When my server runs above this allowance, they do not stop the server - they let it run, and charge me 1 cent per GB, which can reach hundreds of dollars per day.

Accessing Ubuntu desktop from WIndows through RDP and without monitor

I installed Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS on a PC. In Settings - Sharing, I activated Remote Desktop and Remote Control.

On my Windows 11 PC, I configured the remote desktop to access the Ubuntu PC that is on the same local network, using the IP address.

Ubuntu won't boot to desktop after disconnecting and then re-connecting SSD

I looked at journalctl -xb, but didn't know how to interpret that. Basically default mode isn't working. Tried systemctl reboot, which I guess default settings with extra step, also didn't work.

My dual boot (win10/ubuntu20.04) laptop (lenovo t14s gen1) "completely" crashed a couple of days ago.

What's up: Experiencing 2min+ boot times (48s firmware, 1min loader) into a freshly installed single ubuntu 22.04 (no dual boot anymore) and while using it, UEFI responds very slowly (feels like 1-2 fps, if at all). systemd-analyze and systemd-analyze critical-chain below:

i tried building https://github.com/mhx/dwarfs as per instructions but it gives me errors at the end, so im guessing I can just download the binaries that should be dwarfs-0.7.0-RC5-Linux-x86_64.tar.xz but other than that i dont know what to do with the extracted folders, i need the utility to extract an archive. LDAP Account Manager file upload is not working
